With the talent show behind them, Autumn and Alex can finally begin their relationship. My heart breaks for Autumn and Alex, who so desperately deserve their happy ending. Love how this book transported me back to high school — to the rush of emotions, the uncertainty, the thrill of the unknown — and not entirely sure how I’ll be able to wait three months to get some sort of resolution. I loved book 1 in this series and was really anxious to see where book 2 would lead. Although I felt there were a few plot holes in this story and a bit of repetition, I still really enjoyed the writing and the journey. The author continues to surprise me with where she takes Autumn and Alex. She's created very real, very sympathetic and likable characters, and I'm anxious to find out what comes next. I'll be starting book 3 immediately.
